Wasn’t a big enough deal for me to send it back though I bought this on a recommendation from a friend who has the same model and uses his laptop on it. Solid.

I have a 2020 iPad Air and have been looking for an iPad holder for a long time that would allow me to tilt it in different ways and at different heights. It’s a bit hard to adjust the positions but that’s a huge plus for me as I don’t want it to wiggle or fall when I’m using it or when I’m drawing.

The holder also has a “hole” in the support part of the device that can be used to pass the charging wire. But if you just want something minimalist for your semi-permanent desk setup, then the new stand is the way to go. My use for this will be to lift my laptop to a more comfortable height so I’m not slouching for hours at whatever random cafe, library, or restaurant I have to set up shop in. The hinges are very hard, not so much that they make positioning and tilting difficult but at the right point to prevent the position of the support from changing after a whole day.

125" high) vs the new stand (8" long x 1. . 9) don't shake as much. 5" high); however, the new stand appears "slimmer" on your desk because the hinge stalk is 75% slimmer.

Mine came with a bunch of scratches on the riser plate, but my iPad hides it when installed. High quality product, it fits perfectly and the positions with a 12.

25" vs 3. Very good quality, beautiful, elegant, and quite firm and with adjustments The joints have great retention at various positions and support my iPad Air very well. Sturdy, solid, looks good, only things is mine was slightly defective.
