Cleaning
- Ensure all the parts are completely dry before reassembling and storing away.
- Give the upper chamber a quick stir with a metal spoon before serving.
- Never leave unused coffee or excess water in the unit for an extended period - especially overnight as this can cause oxidisation and corrosion inside the unit.
- Select an element that is the closest to the size of the base, adjust the gas burned so that the flame is not is not flicking up the side of the unit - especially towards the handles/knobs.
- If it's spluttering or spitting it means the heat is too high and needs to be turned down.
- The acrylic handle and lid knob are easy to handle, even when the device is very hot.

You can take the whole pot apart which makes it easy to clean and keep it working well. Superb, can make a very nice coffee with this product, much better than a machine that take up too much space in a small kitchen. As with the others it takes 2-3 brews to really taste good, not sure why, like a cast iron griddle pan, it gets better with use. Fuller, richer flavour.

I don’t have as many as Monty Don but for me itsessiential to have a few in relation to whose coming round and of course , it feels almost a crime for a coffee lover not to have at least one Bialetti item , I pull this out on special ocassions …. The pot works perfectly, is a great size and also got delivered directly from Italy which he was really excited about. My third Bialetti Moka Pot.

hence the 9 cup! Easy to clean. Overall I’m extremely happy with this coffee pot and would definitely recommend it. We’ve previously had cheaper coffee pots and they never last more than a couple of years but we could instantly tell that this was so much better quality.

It works great, with a perfectly shaped sprout that lets you pour the coffee easily with no drips. Easy to clean and maintain and ideal for a person who just drinks 2 cups a day. Using the same coffee beans (Belarom Deluxe Colombian Supremo) but what a difference.

Definitely worth spending extra time making your drink, the result is nothing like instant coffee! It also has a large handle that is a great size and allow you to hold it firmly without fear of your fingers touching the pot and getting burned. Amazing.

This makes 2 standard mugs of coffee. Lost a point as this one consistently leaked from the middle, and I had to buy a pack of silicone seals, which I would have needed down the line anyway. A really superior cup of coffee.
