Onto the paints themselves, these are watercolours like no other I've tried. The silver, bronze and gold are all vibrant and iridescent with a wonderful and rich colour payoff.

The packaging is a beautiful olive box with a plastic protector inside and paper dividers for the individual, removable plastic paint pans. I highly recommend them for all watercolor artists whether beginners or professionals.

I think the Mozart might show the metallics better than Arches. I'm not an avid water colourist but my favourite palette has been Paul Rubens, some beautiful paint in that pink tin but it has 3 browns in it. Hope this has helped

Brought this as a treat to self, tore open the parcel like a kid at Christmas and thankfully I was not disappointed! However, add a touch more water and the stunning watercolour qualities are revealed: fluid, flowing and dream-like. !
