But I can deal with that. I do use greaseproof paper on the shelves. The chicken came out after 70 minutes nicely cooked, with moist flesh and crispy skin. It does, although a longer frying time may be needed.

I had worried a bit about how easy it would be to get a rotisserie cooked chicken out of the fryer – but a neat little supplied lifting tool makes easy work of this. The unit itself is reasonably well made.

The surface is a shiny black plastic that shows fingerprint smudges a lot. I've only had it a few days but very happy and will update it possible after some months.

The small amount of excess oil dripped off onto a removable drip tray whilst the chips were cooking. Once you’ve worked out what everything is, this is quite simple to use – the preset buttons are pretty intuitive, as are buttons for switching on the light, turning on rotation, and altering heat/time settings. The media could not be loaded. The door to access the cooking compartment opens downwards, oven-style - no fiddly drawer units to mess about with.
Will
The rotisserie basket is a good size, and has plenty of space in it to accommodate chips for 4. There is another Vine review (with no photos of the fryer actually being used) that claims the basket doesn’t hold enough chips for 4. The fan is noisy whilst this is in use, but there's no ticking timer.
